He is also the Chair of the Steering Committee of SchoolNet Africa. He has been a champion of the African Learning Network that is being developed by the UNECA. |

Dr. Wawa Ngenge is the National Coordinator for SchoolNet Cameroon and Vice-Chairman of the SchoolNet Africa Steering Committee. He is also a Trustee of the Internet Society. Previously, he as the National Coordinator of the Sustainable Development Networking Programme (SDNP), which gave birth to SchoolNet Cameroon. He is also the Coordinator of the National Information and Communication Infrastructure (NICI)process for Cameroon.

Dr. Babacar Fall

Professor Babacar Fall is Associate Professor at The Ecole Normale Superieur (School of Education) of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar, Sénégal. He is coordinating a Senegalese NGO specialized in population and education. Previously Dr Fall was the manager of a pilot project called the promotion of family life education in the Senegalese High Schools. He was a member of the NGO Advisory Committee for the Hagues Forum (2020), Dr. Fall is presently a member of the Steering Committee o f the Partnership for Reproductive Heath in Africa. Dr. Babacar Fall is a member of the SchoolNet Africa Steering Committee. He is the author of many publications on social history, population, migration and education.

Olaolu Sasore is the Co-ordinar of SchoolNet Nigeria. He is also the co-ordinator of the International Education and Resources Network (IEARN) in Nigeria.

Mr Simbo Ntiro

Mr Simbo Ntiro is a management consultant with WorldAhead Consulting Network and an independent management consultant focused on developing digital opportunities for Tanzanias development. His primary clients include the International Institute for Communications Development (IICD) of the Netherlands, and Tanzanias Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH). He is a Tanzanias representatives to the G8s Digital Opportunity Task Force (DOT Force now the DOT Force Implementation Network DFIN) and the UN ICT Task Force. He is active on a number of DFIN working groups and task forces that are implementing the Genoa Plan of Action and achieving the UNs Millennium Development Goals. He is also a member of Tanzanias Minister of Communications and Transport ICT Task Force that, having drafted the first National ICT Policy, is now developing a sector-wide implementation strategy.
Simbo Ntiro is an acknowledged as an expert on matters pertaining to e, ICT for Development and the digital divide. He is also a founder member of Tanzanias eThink Tank (with nearly 400 members) that is the focal point for ICT and development issues in Tanzania.
He sits on a number of steering committees of ongoing ICT projects being executed by various entities. He is the Vice Chairman of the Tanzanian Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) whereby he is on the founding Board of Directors. He is extremely experienced in establishing sustainable partnerships between the public and private sectors with an excellent relationship with Government. In addition he has acted as professional reviewer for a number of publications, the most recent being the Roadmap for e-government 10 questions e-government officials should ask themselves. He is also the Chairman of the East African Business Club.

Heba Ramzy leads the Corporate Social Investment division of Microsoft. She was formerly Director of Electronic Publishing and Kids Information Highway Department of the Regional Information Technology and Software Engineering Center (RITSEC), which is a group of organizations leading the usage of Information Technology in a variety of fields on a regional and a global level. Heba initiated Little Horus; the first and internationally acclaimed Egyptian web site for kids http://little-horus.com.
Heba is also co-founder of the 21st Century Kids Clubs, technology centers that provide the latest hardware, software and communication facilities for youth. She was granted an honorary award by Egypts First Lady H.E. Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak for the establishment of the first club and the development of the first kids highway in Egypt. Her work in the Cyber Space has got a number of national & international awards among which is the Cable and Wireless Childnet International Award. She has been selected by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) to organize the youth focus group at the first African Development Forum 99, The Challenges to Africa of globalization and the information age, in Addis Ababa Oct 99. Heba is a member of Africa Information Society Initiative (AISI) advisory board. She is also a member of the SchoolNet Africa steering committee. At the regional level, Heba is a member of the Unicef civil society organization steering committee. At a national level she is a member of Smart School National Committee. Heba Ramzy is currently managing Schools Online Program for the MENA Region.
Heba holds an M.Sc. from London School of Economics in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems, and a BA in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo. She is currently preparing her Ph.D. at Maastricht School of Management, Kids and the Cyber Space towards an Information Society.

Ms Shafika Isaacs

Ms Shafika Isaacs is currently the Executive Director of SchoolNet Africa. Previously, she worked as a Senior Program Officer for two years, with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC)s Acacia Program which promotes development in Africa through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) where she promoted the SchoolNet Africa initiative and supported youth, womens empowerment and schoolnet projects in a range of African countries. Ms Isaacs was the Director of the Trade Union Research Project (TURP) which is a labour research service organisation based at the University of Natal in South Africa. She worked at TURP for 10 years where she specialised in research, training and writing publications on globalisation and the impact of changing technologies on the labour market and womens empowerment.
She was a founder member of the Cape Town-based Primary and High School Schools Tuition Program and the Skills Training and Education Centre.
Ms Isaacs won the Mandela Scholarship Award in 2020 to complete an M Sc in Science and Technology Policy at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex. In 2020 she was a finalist for the World Technology Network Award. She serves on the Board of Directors and OneWorld Africa and on the Steering Committees of Southern African Network of Universities, the UN ICT Task Force Global eSchools Initiative and on the World Summit for the Information Society (WSIS) Gender Caucus. She has recently served as chairperson of the United Nations Division for Advancement of Women-led Expert Group Meeting on ICTs as an Instrument for the Advancement of Women.
