The Commonwealth of Learning's (COL) mission recognizes knowledge as key to cultural, social, and economic development. COL is committed to assisting Commonwealth member governments to take full advantage of open, distance, and technology-mediated learning strategies to provide increased and equitable access to education and training for all their citizens.
The CoL has partnered with SchoolNet Africa on the African Education Knowledge Warehouse, a SchoolNet Champions Program, SchoolNet Africa’s Researching ICTs for Education Program and the Connecting Teacher Training Institutions in Africa project. COL was a major partner in the ICTs in Africa Schools Workshop held in Botswana on 27 April to 2 May 2020. COL is a strategic partner of SchoolNet Africa on its knowledge warehouse, champion training program, and researching ICTs for education programs as well as supporting the establishment of national SchoolNets in Commonwealth countries.
