The African Youth Initiative is a recently established youth-led formation set up to promote accelerated development for young Africans through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). AYI recently launched an initiative called CatchITYoung whose vision is to create and support a group of young professionals in various disciplines, knowledgeable in ICTs. It begins with a pilot project in Ghana which seeks to expand ICT access to schools by training an initial target of 30 learners in the use of ICTs.
