AOL Foundation sponsors different initiatives to help the community. The current initiatives are the Interactive Education Initiative, designed to fund the development and implementation of innovative, hands-on projects that improve student performance through the integration of interactive technology, and the Civic Involvement Initiative, designed to build strong and vibrant communites by supporting volunteer efforts of AOL employees (cash donations are provided to the school or non- profit organization at which employees volunteer).
