The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation was created by Hewlett-Packard co-founder William R. Hewlett. In recent years, the Foundation's giving has increased with the success of Hewlett-Packard, although the Foundation is not connected with the company. The Foundation concentrates its resources on activities in education, performing arts, population, environment, conflict resolution, family and community development, and U.S.-Latin American relations.
